Our Story/History

In April of 2005, Misti Burmeister founded Inspirion to bridge the communication gap between professionals of different generations. Based on her exceptionally challenging experience entering the workforce outside of academia, Burmeister saw a real opportunity to assist both young and seasoned professionals in understanding how to communicate effectively with each other; thereby increasing collaboration, employee satisfaction, retention and innovation

In order to make this possible, Ms. Burmeister invested time and resources into understanding the greatest challenges faced by corporations and devised a training program to provide solutions. Communication barriers between the generations results in high turnover, low employee morale and low productivity. For nearly a decade, Inspirion has worked with diverse clientele, including organizations such as: AT&T, UPS, Marriott International, Choice Hotels, U.S. Army and Navy and Johnson & Johnson Company.

In 2009, the company transitioned into a limited liability company and began focusing efforts on studying the financial outcomes resulting from a culture of engaged employees. Generational conflict is a symptom of a greater problem – the solution of which is world-class leadership training. Ms. Burmeister and her talented support staff are now serving audiences around the world through tailored keynote speeches, one-day leadership development programs, results-driven executive coaching and ongoing consulting that drives retention, engagement and collaboration across generations, organizations and departments.

In 2011, Inspirion continues to thrive in the area of catapulting leaders to reach extraordinary results. As a direct result of hands-on coaching, clients have seen significant improvements in employee retention, open communication and motivation, ultimately contributing to their bottom lines. One organization saw a 90 percent reduction in its turnover rate, resulting in well over a millions saved!
